Imagine losing the weight without living in fear of gaining it back?
Transform your body.
Free your mind.
Transform your relationship with food and fall back in love with the joy of eating.
Whether you're considering, taking or returning to weight loss meds, Food Noise Freedom™ is about more than losing weight. It's an opportunity to become someone who no longer needs to keep starting over.
It's not the dose.
It's what you do with it.
Whether you're using a prescribed dose or micro dosing, it's normal to wonder what happens when you stop. The real opportunity isn't just weight loss and metabolic reset. It's the person you can become while the window of opportunity is open.
Every transformation story has a hero, and on this journey it's not the GLP-1's, it's you.
Hi - I'm Dee. Here's why I created Food Noise Freedom ™

I built this programme from lived experience, having walked every step of the journey myself.
Twenty-five years ago I recovered from severe eating and body dysmorphic disorders and created my own blueprint for living free from food noise and falling back in love with the joy of eating. That freedom lasted for years... until midlife changed the rules.
Midlife arrived, and everything that had worked so well just seemed to stop working. That didn't sit well with me.
So I got curious, especially when the second generation of GLP-1s arrived. After extensive research, I decided to microdose tirzepatide. I didn't believe it was a panacea, but I could see the opportunity it offered: a period of grace to create meaningful and lasting change.
What I discovered was that the GLP-1's don't provide a miracle - but they can open a window.
The real opportunity is what you build while that window is open.
I believe the solution isn't in endless meds or willpower.
It's identity shift.
That's why I created Food Noise Freedom.
Why should people live in fear of weight regain?
I want to help people use this opportunity to create lasting freedom from food noise, not just temporary weight loss.
Who Food Noise Freedom is for - And who it isn't (yet)
You're losing the weight, but you're frightened of putting it back on.
You're done with feeling you have let yourself down, and starting over.
You don't want to feel dependent on the meds forever.
You want to understand why previous weight loss didn't last.
You want to make the most of this opportunity and create lasting freedom around food.
This isn't the right fit if:
You're in the middle of an active eating disorder and don't yet have clinical support around you. This work is built to sit alongside your treatment team, not in place of it.
You want a meal plan, a macro target, or a list of foods to avoid. I won't hand you rules. If it's just another way to restrict or diet that you need right now, this isn't it.
You're hoping 90 days will fix this without you having to look at anything uncomfortable. The identity work is the whole point, and it asks something of you.
The Window of Opportunity
GLP-1's blunt appetite and quiet the food noise giving you something most people on a non medicated 'diet' have never had: genuine breathing room without white knuckling.
This window is an invitation to build a bridge between the person you are now and the person you want to become, transforming your relationship with food.
Without identiy shift work the old patterns are waiting because behaviour change without it has nothing to make it stick.
The SHIFT Framework
The Blueprint For Lasting Freedom
Food Noise Freedom is built on five evidence-based pillars that work together to help you create lasting change while your window of opportunity is open.

Identity Shift
The heart of the SHIFT Framework.
"Identity isn't something you invent.
It's something you uncover. "
And YES you can absolutely unlearn what you have learned - that which was never who you were in the first place.
Most people are taught to believe that they can change their lives from the outside in. They focus entirely on their behaviors and habits i.e what they do. Identity Shift works from the inside out. It rewires the quiet, underlying beliefs that drive your daily choices. So, instead of constantly fighting your old habits and behaviours, you rewrite the internal narrative driving them. You shift from forcing a new routine to genuinely adopting the perspective of someone who naturally lives it. It is that deeper mental realignment that makes lasting change possible.
Identity Shift is the process of consciously changing the way you see yourself. It means leaving behind the patterns, beliefs and behaviours that no longer serve you, while purposefully strengthening the qualities you want to carry into the next chapter of your life.
Our brainwaves when we are children are highly suseptible and we adopt and adapt based on our pareting and the adults around us. By the time we are seven we have wired an operating system from the'system' around us. Add to that life events and as we grow, our minds constantly look for evidence to confirm this early programming. Every success, failure, trauma, or casual comment from a peer acts as a reinforcing brick in the wall of our identity. We repeat the same internal stories so many times that our brains mistake familiarity for absolute truth. Ultimately, we become the authors of our own limitations, unaware that the script was written for us before we even knew how to read.
From age seven onward, the brain relies on synaptic pruning and neuroplasticity to reinforce this early programming. Every time we react to a life event based on our childhood conditioning, we strengthen those specific neural tracks, turning them into subconscious highways. The brain loves efficiency, so it filters our current reality through these old networks, creating a cognitive bias that constantly looks for evidence to confirm who we think we are. To change your life, you cannot just change your actions; you have to physically disrupt these deeply entrenched neural pathways and actively wire a new self-narrative into your biology.
Changing your environment, your habits and your daily actions are valuable tools, but on their own they are rarely enough to create lasting change. If the beliefs beneath those actions remain unchanged, your new behaviours will eventually collide with the way you see yourself. That's why old patterns re-emerge.
Identity Shift brings your beliefs and actions into alignment. As those beliefs begin to change, the choices you're making start to feel less like something you're forcing yourself to do and more like a natural expression of who you are. Instead of relying on a fatigued source of willpower, you're living in alignment with the person you've consciously chosen to become.
Our work together is centred on your relationship with food, but the transformation that comes through Identity Shift often extends far beyond it. As people begin changing the way they see themselves, they frequently notice positive changes in other areas of life too, including confidence, relationships, money, career and the way they approach their future.
Want to Uncover The Hidden Beliefs Scripting Your Life?
If you are curious to uncover the stories driving the outcomes in your life and your relationship with food, I invite you to complete the 35 question reflection exercise I have carefully created. Yes it's complimentary and you will will receive a full report. Click the link below.
You have uncovered what shaped you. Now honour your real potential with this carefully created 86 page workbook to guide you through each of the core beliefs and rewrite your story.
This isn't a workbook you will skim once and shelve. It has been written with painstaking detail to guide you and show you exactly what to do before you're ever asked to do it for yourself.
The examples are real and believable and many of them are mine, because I want it to feel relatable. There is a lot of detail to encourage your momentum, because this work is uncomfortable (yet so rewarding), I wanted to eliminate you dismissing the sticky parts through “not understanding or doing it perfectly” - I have written it to make sure you’re never left staring at a blank page wondering what happens next, which is exactly the flaw with most workbooks that end up unused in a drawer.
This is for you if you’re curious and ready to move at your own pace.
Here is how you will benefit:
Finally understand why the same patterns keep showing up around food, no matter how many diets, programmes, interventions or good intentions you've thrown at it.
Make sure that you maximise the opportunity of using a GLP-1 medication without fearing weight gain or long term or dependency.
A full, step-by-step process grounded in real psychological research, not opinion, that takes you from naming the belief through to testing it, challenging it, and rewriting it in a way your mind will come to believe.
Daily practices built into the process, so the shift isn't just insight on a page, it's real evidence you build for yourself, day by day.
A dedicated path through every core belief that shapes this pattern, so whichever one is running the show for you, there's a thorough process to work through it.
Creating a new identity over time as you've gathered enough evidence to give it life and shed the beliefs that were never yours in the first place.
Something to come back to again and again, for whatever resurfaces next.
I am confident that as you become the person you always wanted to be, and get back into the joy of eating, you will want to come back here and use this process to reshape other relationships in your life e.g. money, work, fitness etc.

S = Sleep
Sleep supports hormonal health, insulin and glucose regulation, emotional regulation and metabolic function. We work intentionally to understand and optimise your sleep. This has been a critical win and sucess factor in my own journey after several years of poor sleep. You just can't build better wellbeing on a foundation of fatigue.
___________________________________________________
H = Hydration
Adequate fluid and electrolyte intake supports energy, recovery, circulation and blood pressure stability. With GLP-1's, reduced food and fluid intake, alongside gastrointestinal side effects, can increase the risk of dehydration. I rectified my own low blood pressure spells with consistent hyrdration and electrolytes.
__________________________________________________________
F = Functional Strength
Weight loss is rarely pure fat loss. Without deliberate intervention, valuable excess lean mass will be lost. Strength work is the signal and is critical to preserve muscle, support metabolic health, and maintain bone strength. I also request all my clients to have regular composition scans to track these metrics.
__________________________________________________________
T = Targeted Protein
Adequate protein is used strategically to minimise muscle loss, create satiety, preserve lean mass and support recovery. Learning to prioritise protein is a practice designed to support your strength and metabolic health for life.

Cake is for celebration, not rumination.
Somewhere in time we demonised food and assigned it moral values such as good, bad, clean and naughty. But food is none of these things, it's one of life's greatest pleasures, simply part of being human and one of the most primal ways we connect with each other.
Food is nourishment, and my vision for you is that it is also a deep source of satisfaction and joy.
What we build together while your window is open
Food Noise Freedom is a personalised 90-day support programme for people using weight loss medication who want to create lasting freedom from food noise, reduce the fear of weight regain, and build a healthier relationship with food through Identity Shift.
During the next 90 days, we'll use the unique window created by weight loss medication to build something much deeper than weight loss. Together we'll strengthen the foundations that support lasting change, challenge the beliefs and self-identity that have kept old patterns alive, and create a new way of relating to food that feels increasingly natural over time.
Think of these 90 days as a dress rehearsal for the future. It's a supported opportunity to practise the life you want to keep living. There will still be holidays, stressful days, celebrations and setbacks. The difference is that instead of slipping back into old patterns, you'll learn how to recognise those moments, respond differently, and recover quickly with confidence rather than guilt.
We work with self-identity, not behaviour and habits alone. By intentionally challenging our self-beliefs, we create greater possibility for what we're capable of, make better choices, take different actions and step into our own agency to create lasting outcomes.
Whether you choose to stay on weight loss medication long term or eventually reduce or stop it, the goal is the same. To leave the programme feeling confident that the changes you've made belong to you, not the medication.

The goal: to use the window the meds offer to build the skills, confidence and self-awareness to create a freer, more sustainable relationship with food
What it's like to work together
We build a relationship where you feel safe and supported. I’ve walked this road before, both myself and alongside many others, and I understand that progress is never linear despite how much we desperately wish it was.
I bring what I’ve learned through lived experience and working with others alongside the science and practical tools to help you navigate the obstacles. I bring warmth and humour to what will probably be a few hard and uncomfortable moments along the way.
Remember, this is your journey, and it’s my job to help you build the confidence and agency to move forward long after our work together ends.
I limit the number of people I work with at any one time, and sometimes there's a waiting list. That's a conscious decision. Alongside coaching and my corporate work, I'm rewriting the first edition of Food Noise Freedom, and I want every client to receive my full attention, not a diluted version of my time.
I believe the best coaching should ultimately set you free.

A few words from people I have worked with.
Peri-menopause created a world of havoc in my body, and when I heard Dee's story at a keynote I I felt like I had come home. I had agonised about using medication for over a year, but nothing else was working. It was such a sweet relief to not have the food committee in my head and give me the space to collect myself, while I worked on my wiring with Dee's help. Yes I have lost a good amount of weight but what's really been the win is my glucose and cholesterol markers have improved, I feel like the food monkey is off my back - having someone walk me through this respectfully who just 'gets it' has been invaluable. I have never addressed the reason why I had to keep fasting or redoing the same diets or fads, and returning to them. I feel confident and happy with this verison of myself. The weight loss is great but there has been so much more to this transformation.

I've been incredibly impressed by the depth of her knowledge and the passion she brings to helping people. She invests an enormous amount of time researching the latest evidence, testing approaches herself, and continually expanding her understanding so she can provide practical, balanced guidance that people can trust. She's also one of the kindest, most generous and non-judgemental people I've met, creating a safe space where you feel genuinely supported rather than judged.
What really sets her apart is that she truly cares about the people she works with. She takes the time to listen, understand your individual circumstances, and help you find an approach that is realistic and sustainable. If you're looking for someone who combines expertise with genuine compassion, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her.

Second time around with meds for me. First time I lost a lot of weight and a lot of muscle. I lost my appetite completely and dont think I was managed well. Eventually I came off the meds and all the old habits came creeping back in along with the weight - I was devastated and humiliated.
Dee explained to me that it wasnt me that was the failure it was the 'system" I had been using: the lack of support and information on how to maximise the opportunity. I still have a way to go - but this just feels so different, I am definitely not the same person and I think Dee has given me the scaffolding while the new me is emerging. I wish this programme could be offered to everyone. This time it's for life for me - literally.

Individual results vary. This programme supports your journey alongside your prescribing clinician — it doesn't replace their advice.
Your 90 Day Journey
Over 90 Days, we move from intention to momentum, through the deeper work of identity shift, and into integration and consolidation. It’s a deliberate progression designed to help you use this window of opportunity to create change that becomes increasingly your own.
Intention
I meet you where you are. Together we'll explore your relationship with food, your history, what's worked, what hasn't, and what lasting freedom looks like for you. We'll set clear intentions for the next 90 days and establish meaningful goals and measures of success that go far beyond the number on the scales. My preference is that you have a body composition scan before we begin so we can clearly track fat loss, muscle mass and other important changes, not just weight. We'll also put in place the key foundations of the SHIFT Programme: sleep, protein intake and strength training. These provide the platform that supports everything else we build together.
Momentum
As the medication creates some welcome space from food noise, we'll make the most of that opportunity. Together we'll begin lifting the rocks, exploring the beliefs, patterns and self-stories that have shaped your relationship with food. This is where the deeper Identity Shift work begins, as we start building new evidence for the person you're becoming.
Identity Shift
This is where lasting change starts to feel natural rather than forced. As your identity begins to shift, healthier choices become less about willpower and more about reflecting the person you know yourself to be. Over time, your relationship with food becomes calmer, more confident and increasingly your own.
Integration and Consolidation
This final phase is about recognising the new body of evidence you've created about yourself. Together we'll revisit the intentions, goals and measures of success we established at the beginning of your journey and acknowledge how far you've come, not only on the scales but in the beliefs you've challenged, the old patterns you've broken and the relationship with food you've reclaimed. The change you've achieved is the result of being willing to question old assumptions, challenge self-limiting beliefs and create your own unique blueprint for maintaining your freedom long after the programme has finished.
Between Sessions:
You'll also have ongoing WhatsApp support between sessions (Monday to Friday, with replies within 24 hours), so when you hit a difficult moment, have a question or want to celebrate a win, you don't have to wait until our next session.

Your journey doesn't have to end after 90 days. For clients who'd like to continue building on what they've achieved, there's an ongoing option of a monthly group coaching call together with continued WhatsApp support. We'll talk through whether it's the right next step for you during your final review.

Will I regain the weight if I stop taking weight loss medication?
Not everyone regains the weight, but many people do. The key is using the time while the medication is working to follow the protocols recommended, build the habits, mindset and relationship with food that support lasting change.
What happens if I stop taking weight loss medication?
Your appetite and food noise will probably increase, making it easier to regain weight. That's why it's so important to build new habits and mindset and rehearse better behaviours while the medication is working.
Do I have to stay on weight loss medication forever?
Not necessarily, and actually there isn't a lot of data to give us a clear answer on that. Some people stay on long term under medical guidance, but many hope they won't need to. Food Noise Freedom™ is about using this opportunity to build the habits and relationship with food that may reduce your reliance on medication over time.
Can you microdose weight loss peptides?
Some people do. I chose to microdose because I'm a hyper-responder and wanted to achieve the maximum benefit from the minimum effective dose. Clinical trials are designed around the average person, but not for every person. No two people will respond in exactly the same way, so always discuss the dose that's right for you with your healthcare provider.
What's the difference between Ozempic, Wegovy and Mounjaro?
While these medications have similar goals, they work in slightly different ways and aren't interchangeable. I explain the differences, who they're designed for, and what that might mean for you in my free guide, The Window.
Is Mounjaro better than Ozempic?
Newer generations of weight loss medications are being developed all the time. The right choice depends on your health, your goals, how your body responds, and your clinician's recommendation. I chose tirzepatide because its dual GIP and GLP-1 action aligned with my goals, and 'midlife malaise' including addressing insulin resistance.
How quickly should I expect to lose weight on weight loss medication?
It will all depend on how you respond to the meds and the dose - and everyone is different. I know everyone wants to see the scale dropping but rapid weight loss is not desirable as it contrubutes to excess loss of lean muscle and other side effects.
Will I lose muscle as well as fat?
Some loss of lean muscle is an unavoidable part of weight loss, which is why resistance training, adequate protein and good nutrition are so important throughout your journey. Lean muscle helps support your metabolism, strength, balance and healthy ageing, and it's much harder to rebuild the muscle we lose than it is to preserve it in the first place.
Will weight loss medication cause hair loss?
Weight loss medication itself isn't thought to cause hair loss. Temporary hair shedding is more commonly associated with rapid weight loss, as the body prioritises essential functions over hair growth during periods of significant metabolic change.
What are the most common side effects of weight loss medication?
The most common side effects include nausea, constipation, diarrhoea, reduced appetite and sometimes fatigue. Most are manageable, and I discuss practical strategies for minimising them in The Window.
Do side effects improve over time?
For many people, yes. Side effects often improve as the body adapts to the medication, which is one reason doses are usually increased gradually rather than all at once.
Can I drink alcohol while taking weight loss medication?
Many people can enjoy alcohol in moderation, but it's always worth checking what's appropriate for your individual circumstances. One of the more surprising things people report is that their desire to drink alcohol often decreases while taking weight loss medication.
What should I eat while taking weight loss medication?
Don't just eat less - eat better! Weight loss medication is an opportunity to improve the quality of your diet, not just eat less of it. Focus on nutrient-dense whole foods, particularly protein, to help preserve lean muscle, support your health and build eating habits that will serve you long after the medication has gone. I've also created a collection of delicious high-protein recipes to help you get started.
Why am I not losing weight on weight loss medication?
Weight loss isn't always linear. Your results can be influenced by factors such as your dose, nutrition, activity levels, sleep, stress and how your individual body responds. Before increasing your dose, talk with your healthcare provider, as there may be other factors worth addressing first.
Can weight loss medication stop working?
Sometimes people reach a plateau where weight loss slows or stops. Before automatically increasing the dose, it's worth reviewing your nutrition, movement and other lifestyle factors with your healthcare provider, as higher doses can also increase the risk of side effects. I noticed a number of different plateaus even though I was only aiming for a small weight loss, I just carried on doing the basics not increasing the dose and eventually saw movement.
What's the one thing most people don't understand about weight loss medication?
It's completely human to judge success by the scales, your clothes or the mirror. But one of the biggest misconceptions about weight loss medication is that weight is the only measure that matters. In my own experience, my cholesterol improved, my blood sugar regulation improved and my insulin sensitivity improved dramatically. A plateau on the scales doesn't necessarily mean the medication isn't still delivering important metabolic benefits.
